Data Deletion Policy
Effective August 28, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data held by Flextuma, operated by FlexCode Labs, and what happens after you make a request.
1. Who should request what
- Flextuma customers (account holders) can request deletion of their own account data — profile, login credentials, and organisation data — directly from us.
- Message recipients whose phone number was added as a contact by a Flextuma customer should first contact that organisation, since they control their own contact lists and message content. If you're unsure which organisation added you, contact us and we'll help identify and route your request.
2. How to request deletion
Send a deletion request to hi@flexcodelabs.com from the email address associated with your account, or including enough information for us to locate your account or contact record (e.g. username, organisation name, or phone number). We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
3. What gets deleted
- Account profile information (name, username, email, password).
- Contact records and message history associated with a deleted account or, for a recipient-initiated request routed through us, the specific contact record identified.
- Session and authentication data.
4. What we may retain
Some data may be retained after a deletion request where required for legal, accounting, billing, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, transaction records tied to wallet billing), for [retention period to be confirmed]. Retained data is kept solely for that purpose and is not used to re-engage a deleted account.
5. Response time
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within [response time to be confirmed, e.g. 30 days] and will confirm by email once complete.
6. Related policies
See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and why, and our Terms of Service for how account termination works.
